About the restaurant and its food

Bombay Blossom has a decent seating area. Comfortable four and six seaters are adequate for families and couples too. It is rare, but this place might have a waiting during week ends. Coming straight to the point, this restaurant has some dishes in the menu that are very very good and rest is plain disaster. Pani Puri is nowhere close to the original. The taste is good though. On the other hand the bhel and sev items are very tasty and take you straight to a chaat counter on Mumbai streets. Pav Bhaji and Misal pav is also good.

The famous Vada Pav however gets a vicious treatment by this restaurant. The vada is dark brown and is dripping in oil. The potato core is mashed up way too much and there is something wrong in the taste of the crust too. The accompaniment red garlic chutney is however good. Same problem with the Onion Bhajji. Too much oil.

Service is fast and the waiters are fairly knowledgeable about the menu. Best part about this place is the attractive prices. And that too without compromising on the quality. Apart from a few other dishes where they have missed the recipe completely. This place has a lot of potential by just fine tuning a few things here and there. Do not forget to try the long list of shakes.
