Green Chembur
Chembur is a locality in the suburbs of Mumbai. No high rises, lots of tree cover and less of noise pollution too. Being an old place, it has not suffered from the rapid urbanization which most of Mumbai is now affected with. Unluckly, one of the neighbouring places which has an industrial belt became part of Chembur and thats how people from other places of Mumbai know it.
The suburban railway station also known as Chembur Station is the hub of activity. Within a radius of two kilometers you will find whatever you want for your daily needs. Shops, restaurants, books, toys, mobiles, temples….you name it, Chembur has it.
It is a nice experience to walk around the shops of Chembur and gets better in the rains.
Great to see Chembur after so many years. We used to live there what seems like ages ago. In fact, I was born there. Someday i would definitely come back and visit this place. 🙂
